Outre la lecture, les vacances et la vie de l’entreprise, le CCE est également le principal partenaire du monde associatif cheminot. Malgré la faible dotation versée par l’entreprise, il subventionne chaque année les associations cheminotes. Il organise en partenariat avec elles des initiatives, telles les foulées du CCE, le rassemblement moto…
- 7 associations sont subventionnées par le CCE : l’Union artistique et intellectuelle des cheminots de France (UAICF), l’Union sportive des cheminots de France (USCF), le Jardin des cheminots, l’Association touristique des cheminots (ATC), la Famille du cheminot, l’Orphelinat national des chemins de fer, l’Orphelinat “ Flamand ”.
